Safety

Safety

Safety concerns deserve their own space.

Relavara separates safety-related behavior from ordinary relationship conflict so serious concerns do not disappear inside a general pattern summary.

Positive moments do not erase safety concerns.
A different category

Not every difficult interaction is a safety issue.

Arguments, misunderstandings, frustration, and poor communication can be difficult without necessarily being unsafe. When something raises a genuine safety concern, Relavara keeps that information distinct.

Supportive behavior does not “cancel out” a safety concern.

A relationship can contain affection, kindness, good memories, and serious safety-related behavior at the same time.

What may deserve separate attention

Some behaviors should not be treated as ordinary conflict.

Relavara does not diagnose another person. It helps you keep a clearer record of behaviors that may affect safety.

!

Threats

Threats of harm, retaliation, destruction, or other actions intended to create fear deserve separate attention.

△

Intimidation

Behavior intended to frighten, dominate, corner, or make someone afraid to respond can be different from ordinary disagreement.

↔

Coercion

Pressure, threats, manipulation, or force used to override another person’s choice may raise safety concerns.

◉

Stalking or Monitoring

Repeated unwanted monitoring, following, surveillance, or attempts to control someone’s movements may require more than ordinary relationship reflection.

×

Physical Violence

Hitting, pushing, restraining, blocking movement, or other physical acts should not be reduced to a normal conflict pattern.

Something Feels Unsafe

You do not need Relavara to “prove” that a situation is unsafe before seeking support or help.

Immediate support

Relavara is not an emergency service.

If you are in the United States and need immediate help, these resources may be more appropriate than continuing to use the app.

Immediate danger
911

Call 911 in the United States if you are in immediate danger or need emergency assistance.

Domestic violence support

Quick Exit

Get Relavara off the screen quickly.

Quick Exit switches the visible interface to a neutral Notes-style screen.

It does not erase browser history.
It does not delete downloads, screenshots, notifications, or exported files.
It cannot defeat spyware or device-monitoring software.
Someone with access to your device may still be able to find traces of use.
Notes
Calm Moment

You can pause before you continue.

Pause & Breathe gives you a short grounding option if you need a moment before writing, reviewing, or deciding what to do next.

It is a reflection tool, not a substitute for emergency help or professional support.

Pause & Breathe
Slow down for a moment. You can return to the record when you feel ready.
Device safety

Privacy tools have limits when someone can access or monitor your device.

Relavara’s privacy controls can help with ordinary privacy, but they cannot guarantee secrecy on a compromised or monitored device.

Browser history may remain.

Quick Exit changes what appears on screen, but does not automatically clear browser history.

Downloads may remain visible.

Backups, PDFs, and other saved files exist outside the Relavara interface.

Device monitoring may see more.

Spyware, parental monitoring, workplace monitoring, account syncing, or someone with device access may expose activity outside Relavara’s control.

Your device security matters.

Screen locks, account security, browser settings, and where files are stored can affect overall privacy.

Audio & recordings

Recording laws can vary.

Premium may allow supported voice recording or audio-file storage, but the ability to technically record something does not automatically mean the recording is lawful.

Check before you record.

Recording-consent laws can depend on where you are, where the other person is, what is being recorded, and the circumstances.

Laws vary by jurisdiction. Consent requirements may differ. Audio, phone calls, video, and in-person conversations may be treated differently. Relavara does not provide legal advice.
If you are concerned

Your next step does not have to come from the app.

Relavara can help organize what you have noticed, but support from trusted people or qualified services may be more important when safety is involved.

01

Reach out

Consider a trusted friend, family member, advocate, counselor, or other support person.

02

Think about privacy

Consider whether your device, browser, email, accounts, or files can be accessed by someone else.

03

Use appropriate resources

Emergency services, crisis support, domestic violence advocates, legal professionals, and other services may offer support Relavara cannot.

04

Keep the decision yours

Relavara does not decide whether you should stay, leave, reconcile, report, or take another relationship action.

Safety is not paywalled

You do not need Premium to access Relavara’s core safety tools.

Free Basic includes safety tracking, safety resources, Quick Exit, PIN, Pause & Breathe, and Reality Check.

One more thing

A record can help you remember. It does not have to prove what you already know.

If something feels unsafe, you do not need a score, pattern summary, or completed history before reaching out for support.
